Zoia Podorozhna

Zoia Podorozhna, LGPC
Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
I’m a psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, and children on their journey toward healing, growth, and deeper self-understanding.
Originally trained and certified as a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in Ukraine, I bring a rich international perspective to my work. After moving to the U.S., I continued my professional path as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and psychology associate in Maryland, as well as a State-Certified Psychoanalyst in New Jersey.
My therapeutic style is grounded in classical psychoanalysis and contemporary psychodynamic therapy. I offer a safe, respectful, and thoughtful space where you can explore emotions, uncover hidden patterns, and create meaningful change. My training includes over 350 hours of personal psychoanalysis, more than 3,000 hours of clinical work with patients, and 350+ hours of professional supervision, ensuring deep clinical expertise and a strong ethical foundation.
I specialize in emotional growth, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, identity development, and early intervention for developmental challenges, including autism spectrum disorders.
If you’re looking for a therapist who combines deep listening, careful clinical thinking, and a sincere commitment to your unique journey, I invite you to connect with me. I would be honored to work together as you build a more authentic, resilient, and fulfilling life.
