Julia Rich
Graduate Clinical Social Work Intern
Hi! My name is Julia and I’m excited to be a part of an amazing team that combines mind, body and soul to achieve happiness and fulfillment. I have a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Nonprofit Management and a background in child welfare.
I’m currently a graduate student in the Clinical Social Work program at the University of Maryland. I am pursuing a career as an LCSW with a focus on child and adolescent therapy. My passion is improving the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect and/or trauma.
I also work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and I am fully trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. I have experience working with children and adults with a wide range of developmental and intellectual disabilities, with a specific focus on clients with ASD and ADHD.
My mental health journey began at a young age and I’ve always found that working on my mind has helped improve my life in every different aspect. I’ve always had a desire to help others and hope to bring that into my future career as a therapist.
In my free time, I enjoying going on relaxing walks with my dogs, running and listening to podcasts. I love the beach, music, painting and playing field hockey.
