Rebecca Sutter
MA, Clinical Intern
Hi! My name is Rebecca Sutter. As a pre-licensed master level counselor, at the age of 57 I bring a rich tapestry of life experiences to my practice and offer a unique blend of problem-solving skills honed from my previous career in technology, coupled with the deep empathy cultivated through my roles as a parent and spouse. Having earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University, I am actively working towards full licensure as an LPC under supervision. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling to clients ranging from children as young as 5 through older adults, providing both in-person and online sessions through Enrichment Wellness LLC.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, adapting different theoretical frameworks to create a customized plan that best fits each client’s unique needs. I maintain a highly engaged style, focusing on truly hearing my clients and centering them in every part of the healing process. This ensures that each session is dynamic and responsive to immediate needs. I utilize evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Parts Therapy. These modalities help clients accept their thoughts and feelings, commit to values-driven actions, develop emotional regulation skills, and foster inner harmony.
While I’m open to treating a wide range of conditions, I’m particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and women navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions. However, I welcome anyone seeking support and growth. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where my role is to guide clients along a path uniquely suited to their strengths and goals. Clients can expect endless patience, creativity, and a gentle sense of humor in our sessions. I firmly believe that each client is the expert on themselves, and I’m here to understand, appreciate, and support them as they grow.
Beyond my professional life, I’m a long-time pottery teacher and artisan who enjoys creating things with my hands. My extensive travel experiences and the wisdom gained from raising two children contribute to my worldly and empathetic approach to therapy. This rich background allows me to bring a unique perspective to my practice, blending creativity, life experience, and professional expertise.
If you’re interested in working with me, you can reach me at [email protected] or (571) 354-7384. While I’m not accepting insurance, I offer services on a sliding scale. I am committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals, couples, and families seeking support on their journey to mental wellness and personal growth.
